Influenster sent me a bag of the Uncle Ben's Flavor
Infusions Chicken & Herb Flavored Infused Dry Rice for free to try out and
review. I first must mention that I am a fan of delicious rice, so it has to be
pretty good to to rank high up. This rice has ranked in my top 5! First of all
the packaging is wonderful. You can scoop out just the amount of rice that you
want and then you can reseal the package. Instructions, Nutrition Facts, and a
recipe are listed conveniently on the back. Warning* this product is not gluten
free. I like the fact that the flavors are infused within the dry rice itself
vs. having to use an additional seasoning packet. Another wonderful thing about
this product is that it only has to simmer for about 10 minutes vs. the 20
minutes standard rice has to simmer. It's a very easy product to cook and the
kitchen smells delightful as it's cooking. As far as the taste goes, it is
delicious. It's not overwhelmingly flavorful, but you certainly get the
wonderful chicken & herb flavor with every bite. I served mine tonight with
some chicken breast and corn. Overall, I think this Uncle Ben's Flavor
Infusions rice is excellent and I will certainly be repurchasing this flavor as
well as try the additional flavors offered.
