Petaluma and Co Skinion Nopal Cactus Gel Cream

I received Petaluma and Co Skinion Nopal Cactus Gel Cream free in exchange for my honest review from 08liter.com. To be honest I was pretty confused as to what this is for. The packaging is all in korean and there isn't much information on the internet about it. From what I could piece together, this can be used similar to aloe. It can soothe burned or overheated skin. It can be used as an all over moisturizer. It can even be used on your face to lock in moisture. I  used it on my face after I masked. It left a weird, tight feeling on my hands but my face looks and feels firm and supple. My final thoughts on this product is that there really needs to be more information on this product, especially in english. I enjoyed the way I used the product but I wish I knew more about it.

Real Solution Tencel Sheet Mask

I received a Real Solution Tencel Sheet Mask by MISSHA free for review from 08liter.com. I received the Propolis mask. This is the vitalizing mask and uses a hydro gel. When I opened the package, there was a very faint scent. It was just a clean smell similar to aloe. The mask, when I pulled it out, was very thick with gel and difficult to open as it was a bit slippery. One  side of the mask did have more gel than the other so I put the more gelatinous side on my face. The fit was quite nice. The mask did move a little bit during my twenty minute relaxation time. Once I removed the mask, there was still quite a bit of gel on my face left. The instructions were to gently pat until absorbed. I patted for a loooong time. It takes a while for this stuff to absorb. When all is said and done, my face feels absolutely fabulous!! I'm sitting here typing this and trying so hard to resist just feeling how soft my face is. It's not tacky or squeaky, just soft and supple. I love this mask!!

A few weeks ago, I entered a Freebie Friday giveaway on Instagram to win a Mystery Box. This giveaway was held by sosakuri. I was super excited to find out the next day that I had won! A short time later, the mail lady left the package in my mail box. Well, she stuffed it in there. Surprise Box from Forever Equal Hobbies

Today was a day of Happy Mail!!! One of my packages I received was a big box from Yaarii at Forever Equal Hobbies. Forever Equal Hobbies is a cool Facebook page where we share DIY's, talk about our sugar gliders and other furry babies, and some amazing vendors have some of the neatest products for sale. Yaarii posted an invite contest and the prize was one of her My Pet and I Care boxes. The My Pet and I Care box can be found Here at the Forever Equal Hobbies Shop. You get to pick your box size, Pet type, and your Pet gender. My daughter wants one of the Suggie Care Boxes. Dead Sea Minerals Killed My Dragon Skin!!

I battle with dry, scaly skin on my face. It's very frustrating and I have recently realized I need to be more vigilant with my skin care. I have been purchasing one or two face care items at a time because funds are extremely limited. My first facial moisturizer was a thumbs down and we won't even mention it. I have done a couple of sheet masks that I have reviewed and they were nice, but I still had scales. Tuesday I went to Dollar General with my boyfriend for a few items that we needed for the house. I walked over to the beauty section to see if they had any sheet masks that looked interesting. I didn't see any sheet masks but I did see a Dead Sea Mineral Anti-Stress Clay Face Mask (Not the Freeman's one). I thought anything that is anti-stress is worth trying so I went ahead and picked up the last three they had. I also picked up a new moisturizer that I will be reviewing later.

 So last night after my shower, I exfoliated with my St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I then went ahead and used the Dead Sea Minerals mask. It was blue!! It was my first time ever using a clay mask so I was quite tickled with the whole process. It felt so weird!! It didn't really have any kind of smell to it. There was really no sensations until later when it started to dry and then I could feel a tightening of my face that wasn't unpleasant at all. The instructions said to relax and allow the mask to dry. I felt fun and silly with a blue face so instead, I took a bunch of Snapchat pics, and posted on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook. I loved it. It was a fun experience for me. 

Once it was dry, I wet a washrag with warm water and began wiping it off. And then I rinsed my wash rag, and then I wiped some more, and then rinsed, and then wiped, and repeat....lol. It was a long, blue process. After I finally got all the blue off my face I gently patted dry my face with a clean towel. I didn't notice any dry patches. I touched my face. Oooooh...It felt so smooth!!! Then I put on my Elf Cosmetics Illuminating Eye Cream and my new moisturizer. I touched my face again. Ohmygoodness!! I was in face texture heaven!!! My face hasn't felt this nice and smooth in so long. I almost cried. It's the next morning as I'm writing this and I've washed my face and applied my eye cream and moisturizer for the day and my face is still baby smooth. I am so impressed. I'm very glad I have two more of these masks because I will certainly be using them. Now I have to stock up on some more.

 I am disappointed that I cannot find a website for them directly to give them credit. I posted a link above where they can be purchased. I bought mine at Dollar General. They were $1 each. You really cant go wrong with that. And there was enough product in the package that you could probably do two masks if you want to do masks with a friend. I highly recommend this product!!

YesTo Coconut or CocoNOT?

Last Monday I tried out YesTo Cucumbers Soothing Calming Paper Mask. I completely enjoyed it. So my super amazing boyfriend went and got me another one and picked me up another "flavor" of the YesTo masks. Today I gave YesTo Coconut Hydrate & Restore ultra hydrating Paper Mask a try. The scent was very subtle yet certainly very nice and coconutty. I applied it, sat back and relaxed for the next 10 minutes. It was very enjoyable. No burning or irritation. My face was very red when I removed the mask. Much redder than when I removed the cucumber mask. The redness all faded away after about 30 minutes or so. Overall it was a nice mask. The only gripe I had with it is that it didn't seem to be any more hydrating than the cucumber mask. I will give it another try and see if I feel any different about it. YesTo products can be found at Ulta, Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, or your local drug store. Cool as a Cucumber!!

My super duper awesome bestest ever boyfriend bought me my first sheet mask upon my request today!! It was the YesTo Cucumbers Soothing Calming Paper Mask. I enjoyed this face mask. It was cooling and it smelled very nice. I applied it, closed my eyes and sat back to relax. I didn't have any problems with irritation. After ten minutes or so I simply removed it and rubbed in the leftover residue and then went about my business. My face was a little red afterwards, but my face is always red. I plan on trying the coconut one next because I need moisturizing products the most. These cucumber masks would be great to keep in the fridge in the summer for those days when you just need to cool off. I need to stock up now because, yeah, state of Georgia! Hydrate and Prime

I have never used primer before. I'm old school where we put our foundation and then concealer and then powder. The concept of primer certainly intrigued me. I have a certain YouTube beauty personality that I love to watch. She does show e.l.f. products quite often. one of these products was the e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer. I decided to go ahead and order this primer as she gave it a glowing review and we both have similar skin types. It was only $6 online. I was so happy with the price. The product itself is in a beautiful sea green glass bottle with a pump and lid. It matched the colors in my bathroom and was more sanitary than some of the other packaging of other products I have looked at. 

I watched many videos on the proper way to use primer and practiced til I perfected it. I love this primer! I sometimes actually use this without wearing any foundation because it makes my face feel so yummy. I have very dry skin and I moisturize, but my thirsty face loves this primer. It gives my face a dose of hydration while smoothing out all the imperfections and creating a flawless palette for my foundation. When I laid my foundation out over this I was amazed at how much smoother everything appeared and how much longer everything lasted. My makeup certainly didn't melt at all. It was a workout getting everything off at night though. 

The only downfall I would say this product might have, and to me it wasn't really a downfall, it does come across as a little oily feeling at first until it settles. Overall I am truly pleased with this product and I would highly recommend it to others. I will be repurchasing this primer again very soon.

Is e.l.f.'s Flawless Finish Foundation Truly Flawless?

I purchased my e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation with SPF 15 in shade 83111 Porcelain at Wal-Mart for $6.00 plus tax. To start with, the price point was amazing!! And I was certainly in shock to see e.l.f. at my local Wal-Mart. I squeed with joy! I had recently made an online elf haul and forgot to get foundation. This was a complete win. This foundation comes in 6 different shades. It's medium to full coverage and has an SPF of 15.

I just have to say that I am completely pleased with this product. It is the perfect shade for my skin and doesn't oxidize and leave me orange. It's not too thick where it takes forever to blend it out, yet it's not runny at all. I have applied this foundation with my fingers, a brush, and a beauty blender and the product works well with all 3.

I really can't find any flaws with e.l.f.'s foundation. It's inexpensive. The color I chose was perfect for me. It's buildable for full coverage. It's easily workable and doesn't melt off my face during the day when I use it with my e.l.f. primer. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice goto foundation. It is truly flawless!!
